Photographs l have taken capturing moments and beautiful scenery alike around the medieval town of Sandwich and surrounding areas in Kent and added to nature and inspiration quotes and accompanied with music. Sandwich, Kent I live in the beautiful and historic town of Sandwich in Kent in the southeast of England. The River Stour lies on the edge of the town. Originally, Sandwich was one of the Cinque Ports, and we have many medieval buildings here from the original construction time. Sandwich is two miles from the coast, and although once it was a major port in its own right, this is no longer the case due to the silting up of the River Stour. Gazen Salts Nature Reserve The woodlands are home to many species of flora also such as primroses, celandine, dog rose, oak, ash, wild cherry, elm, field maple, wild privet, marsh marigold, marshmallow, meadowsweet, black bush, yellow iris and many other exciting plants of interest. The lake and the waterways in the Reserve are sustained by a sluice gate connected to the River Stour. The waters further feed and play host to a diverse range of wildlife, including species such as sticklebacks, pond skaters, diving beetles, frogs and toads, newts, kingfishers, moorhens, bats, rats, shrews, weasels, stoats, foxes, hedgehogs, moles, water voles, grass snakes, mallard, tufted, pochard and shoveler ducks, warblers, woodpeckers, blackcaps, sparrowhawks, grey squirrels, parakeets and others including many butterfly species too. Pleased to hear it Suzanne. I am in the process of redefining the niche of the blog, l am happy with the branding, l am happy with the name of the business, l am happier with the tweaks, l just have to work on the about and the niche to fine tune that and then l know it’ll be right.

Thank you, Rory! One could not ask for more from a walk than beautiful scenery, lovely music to set the pace and wise quotes to ponder along the way. I like the composition very much, too. I do wonder, however about the music, for I couldn’t find it on YouTube just by the word Hidden and I would like to listen to more.

hey Betty, Hidden is a private non-commercial piece owned by Morning Light Music which is why you can’t find it. you can source out Morning Light Music on YouTube though.
These are music snippet providers – l purchased from them a life time licence so l can now provide musical backdrops and not have to worry about credit being awarded to artists.

I love the reflected picture in the first group. Well done! In the last group, is that a private house on Strand Street? It’s lovely… something I could never afford though😂
That music has a spooky quality to it 🤔
