First and foremost, thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy your visit. Please feel free to browse through the blog and your comments are always welcome.
Always expect the unexpected, l like to say to people, especially when it is something l am involved with. Earthly Comforts is a business blog with a twist. The twist is that it doesn’t automatically fall into the ‘conventional style of thinking’ regarding a business blog.
So with that in mind, Earthly Comforts is a broad niche wildlife journaling scrapbook inspired by nature focusing on the countryside, wildlife biodiversity and environmental conservation, flora and fauna volunteering projects, gardening, composting and vermiculture, also known as ‘worm farming and photography too.
I am also in the early stages of starting my own worm farming business and am a massive fan of ‘earthworms’ hence the logo on the blog. I will also journal about my adventures as a novice worm farmer.
I will write about many different things, covering many topics and digging into many subjects. The blog has several categories specifically designed to cater to many tastes – environmental, inspiration, history, community and entertainment, to name a few, and some light-hearted fun is thrown into the mix for variety.
I am sure that most visitors will find something to tickle their fancy, light their fires, and stimulate and excite their senses. Be this located in The community-inspired Country Life Style Diary hub or within Earthen Tales, where there are series concerning wildlife, gardening and herbs, or maybe digging for victory in the composting pile is more your thang?
Of course, perhaps like Earthen Wurmin and me, you like mooching around in and with the verm herds. Failing that, there are always photo galleries.
Now, if that’s the thing you are keen to boogie down with and read, welcome to my blog – Earthly Comforts!
“I am proud to say I have worms big ones, little ones, fat ones, thin ones, well all sorts really and l’ll be writing about them here in Earthly Comforts.”

Glad I found your new site! Years ago I did a Vermicomposting unit with the small clinical day school that I taught at. The problem was that these kids had a lot of social-emotional issues and this wasn’t the type of thing where they got any significant results quickly, which made them lose interest. I liked it and wanted to do more of it myself but never got to it the correct way. Hence, I had a huge, gross compost bin that I never wanted to open!
Nicely done, Rory! Both friendly and inviting. 😊

Thanks Sadje, the blog build is now in the final days before she goes live next month, just finishing off pieces with tweaks.
This is a sticky post so will always be present, but it does sum up the blog nicely 🙂
