I know when the time is right when my gut tells me so! Just to make it clear, I make my decisions on logic and if something needs to be done, do it as soon as possible.

Gotcha and has your gut ever been wrong?

Hi Rory. This is the first time I have been able to get to your new site and leave a comment. Guess the time is right. LOL. Will be back.

Hey Ruth
The blog went live on the 7th, whereas before it was under various privacy modes whilst it was being built. So yes indeed, when is the right time? When it’s right 🙂

When I lose track of time and don’t even know what music is playing and the page fills up with words almost faster than I can keep up…. then I know the time is right for writing… ☺️☀️

Yes, I suppose so. I agree with the others that it’s an intuitive thing. I think I just gave a few more details about how that intuition feels for me in a particular instance. In this case, writing. ☺️. But, I can think of other things that I don’t have so much freedom as to when and where and how they’re done. Gardening for instance. It’s Hot! If anything needs to be done outside it should be done in the early morning hours or in shady circumstances. Perhaps that’s motivation too and not so much intuition. It’s dependent in a way, on outside circumstances. Now, I’m jsut thinking too much 😄 but, there I am!

Nothing wrong with thinking 🙂

I just try to follow my Heart. It’s like an automatic shift of consciousness into “Over-drive”! 😁

I listen to my intuition. I have found that if I ignore it, a stronger push forces me into it.

So for you, it’s more intuition, got you – more instinct then.

I follow my gut! Being an insurance underwriter teaches you to go with your gut feeling. Sometimes, that gut feeling needs some tweaking but most of the time it is spot on.

Gut feeling certainly makes sense.

Usually someone tells me when it’s time. Also I have alarms set on my phone.🤪

Alarms are great except when they don’t go off and then they are so good, so bad in fact that it’s quite alarming, or not as the case might be, beep 🙂

I do not have a top of the line gut, so I rarely know when the time is right.

I can relate to that.

If it’s work or chores, I stick to a schedule. I feel anxious if I don’t. But as far as my writing and other pursuits, I know it’s “time” when I can’t focus on much else. That’s when I know my creative muse must be set free again…

Yes l can relate to that also Paula, l feel a level of anxiety approach if l don’t have a certain amount of order into a work ethic.
