🤔 Rory, that is an interesting quote from Rembrandt.
One cannot serve two masters anyway.

Very true Renard which is why Rembrandt chose nature.
As an artist it was nature that gave life to his paintings in his eyes 🙂
I can think of no better master if l must to serve personally. If l am to believe in anything with conviction then l would choose it over everything else 🙂

I view nature as a teacher!

Nature has a way of most assuredly teaching the world lessons, but not everyone listens atypical from student to teacher.

Yes, we often ignore it to our detriment

Very much so. We have played havoc with our environment and we will pay the price

We could learn so much from nature if we would open our minds and take the time. I love the quote from Rembrandt. The French rose is gorgeous!

Hey Eugenia, l am astonished at sadly how little the world doesn’t take the time to open its mind . Even a small fraction and they could see so much more and learn how to improve.

Hey Trisha, yes the white and pink roses have a lovely scent to them. But they are old varieties – some of the newer hybrid rose varieties sadly are scentless.

I prefer them with scent ❤️

Yes so do l, it’s always strikes me as sad when you see a gorgeous rose or any flower and they have no scent to them.
