Elemental Mouth tastes metal: Sharp, copperbright. Saltwater lakes pool into False oases behind my eyes. I dream of rock and sky, Wind carving mountain ice, Shapes melting in the fire. The air is thin and cool; I exhale memories of you. © Paula Light All She Wrote: Catharsis & Absolution |

What is a Deal Shore Boat 🛥?
Coast guard?
Very quaint seeming area 😊❤️
I miss the feel, sights and sounds of a marina.
Hmm 🤔 I am not sure what I would ask readers?
In regards to your site? Maybe what is best plant to grow in your area? – what is your climate and maybe general area of world? lol
Otherwise … hmm 🤔
What is fondest life memory ?
So one pertaining to your site and one pertaining to life lol

I still don’t know what kinda boat that is lol
So what is a deal shore – boat ?
Why you call it deal shore – boat? I am so curious meaning
Is just a boat to take people here and there ? I google and that’s what it say?

Deal is the next town down the coast from Sandwich. The boat is a fishing trawler l should imagine.
I know early mornings they sell fresh fish just caught from that part of the beach, so l should imagine they are fishing boats there 🙂

Good “deal” if you like fish lol
We have funny names for towns too … there is one here called “rough and ready” … that is actually a town name 😮
There is also “cool”, “weed”, “paradise”, and “last chance” to name a few lol
And no … Weed, CA … was NOT named after weed lol … it was named after a man named Abner Weed who was a pioneer and founder/owner of the local lumber mill for that town… it’s up near Mt Shasta … is a historic California logging town… there is not much there though – is small tiny town with nothing but a view of Mt Shasta ❤️
But we have weird town names too lol

Yes same here, Deal is pretty normal in considerations to the likes of some of the ones in the UK.
I remember years ago writing about such places and here are a few from memoty – Tongue End, Twenty, Boggy Bottom, Tiddlywink, Spankers, Brown Willy, Jugg’s Close, Sandy Balls, Shitterton and Wetwang … makes you wonder were these people high as a kite when thinking of the names? 🙂

Hahaha … we have lewd sounding names too lol
Hahaha some do make you think – ok what you smokin ? Lol … or someone had a fetish lol
But then when you research the town names to see why named? And makes more sense but unfortunately was different time so maybe meanings different or would not be thought of like we do today 😄
Your Wetwang was named for meeting place or place of justice. Also means Wet field
Many of our names like Hooker, California is named after a person with that last name lol
Although – I don’t think I would live in Shitterton lol … the meaning for that one is: farmstead on the stream used as an open sewer
So think I am good on that one lol
Brown Willy is hill of swallows or highest hill. 😊
See there are reasons lol

Yes indeed many of your interpretations are correct, when l was writing the history to them l had to dig very deep indeed often writing to the parish council for their interpretations and stories 🙂
