Well what is a great idea to me may not be to someone else. For me a great idea is one which either solves my problem, inspires to write something good, or perhaps is of benefit to the world in general ( though I haven’t had such an idea ever!😜)

Not that changed the world! My world, maybe a few times.

Well then that’s all that counts isn’t it? I mean is it more important to have an idea that changes the people’s world or ours first?

Yes, that’s true. I have a post written about it. I’ll link it to your question. Is that okay?

IMO a great idea has to have appeal, fulfills a need and a matter of timing for it to succeed. Sadly some of my great ideas have been anything but.

That’s the beauty of the idea isn’t it, we all have ideas but how many are great 🙂

A great idea solves a problem without creating new ones. This doesn’t happen often!

Very true – otherwise it is just another similar look.

well, in some sense no (well intended) idea is a bad idea as it could lead you (or another) to a different idea…creativity can be contagious. But generally I consider a good idea to be one that is innovative – I.e one that solves a problem for the intended user, is technically/scientifically feasible, is practically (e.g. financially) feasible.

Hey Monty l agree. I have had many ideas off the backs of the original ideas that might have been nonsense only for me to redefine 🙂
