      1. General Tso’s Chicken is a dish and implies ownership. But a chicken with the name of General Tso is pretty badass to me. It’s like the Chicken taking back it’s rightful ownership.

  1. Popping in to add my two cents… how about other animal names? Like “frog”, “cow”, “rabbit” , “cat”… it might give other gardeners pause to hear you calling “come here Frog, Rabbit, Cat. Get over here Cow”😂😂😂

I think food dish names would be funny too like “nuggets”, “patty”, “cacciator” but I’m sorta twisted like that😘😂😂😂

  2. I would think their names would depend on their personality, Rory. Like when you meet them, they will seem to remind you of something, or someone you know or have known in the past. 😊

For instance, when I lived in the country, a stray dog came to live in our barn. When I discovered her, she was way back underneath a table like construction, way out of reach. It was very dark in there and what I seemed to see, barking at me, was a tiny gargoyle. I had to laugh looking at her fierce little face. She was so ugly she was adorable! Her name was Gargola. It just seemed to fit her. 😊 And she became my dearest friend for many years.

I mentioned previously the king and queen of my poultry community was Henry and Henrietta. The names, though not very original, just seemed to fit them. And they were definitely in charge. The only other one that comes to mind is Henny-Penny. She was always in a panic, running around squawking at every one – “The sky is falling, the sky is falling” .😊
