    1. Hey Sadje, l can understand the cockroaches l think it is the thoughts of the perils they can bring and the way they scuttle around, perhaps the lizards was of the same issue?

I remember when living in Malaysia, geckos used to freak me out a bit when they lost their tails and would skittle sidewards behind a painting on the wall.

My main phobia these days is walking across open railway tracklines, they just spook me up 🙂

      1. Yes l can understand that, lizards are way cleaner than cockroaches though and yet the thing about many ‘dirty insects’ is that they do in fact groom themselves more than many might expect.

But because of where they are found they are considered dirty and of course more importantly they can carry dangerous pathogens.

  1. Ophidiophobia – fear of snakes. I won’t look at pictures of them nor want to see them on TV or the internet. I’ve been afraid of snakes back to my childhood. Every now and then one would appear in our yard and I would freeze.

    I’d druther no slithers
I get all in a dither
    best they go yon
    and not hither.
