10 – I think my blog reading has changed since I began. I imagine that is an inevitability. Life and time changes things. I do not get frustrated when another writer’s writing doesn’t pique my interest. They aren’t writing for me.
They’re writing for themselves, hopefully. It’s their writing and I’m happy for them that it works for them and for all those who read it. Likewise, I don’t expect my offerings to appeal to everyone and that’s ok. ‘Bored’ is not really a term I use for myself in life or blogging.
There are too many amazing things of interest out there. If I have any frustration it’s that there are so many wonderful things to do and see and read and I can’t get to all of them. ☺️
But that’s just me. Thanks for the great questions! Happy Saturday, Rory ☺️ Also, I think I’d probably choose the fried insect sandwich 🧐

Hey Suzanne, wishing you a lovely Sunday 🙂
Yes l agree we write for ourselves but we also write to be read by others.
Our reading habits will change of course and more so as they reflect how our views and opinions change on life and the time we do have or don’t have available. But also how we change as people and how life has changed us.
Thinking back to when l first began the Guy blog in 2017 – my views on reading were darker because of where l was in life and then by 2019 my views again changed to look at things very differently and my focus wasn’t so much on the wider crowd of reading but more selective. But so too did my writing change to reflect that.
Yes l think it might be easier to digest the insects 🙂
Good answers Suzanne 🙂

We use a lot of onions, garlic and leaks, weekly. Also sweet peppers, if they’re not classed as fruit distinct from vegetables. Then tomatoes too, I suppose.
I try not to get frustrated with blogs I can’t relate to. These would be the majority of them, I guess, but I’ve found enough to keep my interest going. If I want something more insightful, profound or heavyweight, I’ll go look elsewhere. Blogging isn’t really about that, I think.
I think it’s important to recognise stress. I’m quite good at sandboxing problems, to use an IT analogy. I try not to let what’s happening at A effect what I’m doing at B. It’s usually the accumulation of lots of small issues simultaneously which can overwhelm me at times; then I have nowhere to go. Just have to sit it out.

Hey Ian, yes l think that is true, l work with the same theory regarding stress – and yet there are times when one more bag will make this mule fret. It’s usually brief in the overload and it will pass.
Oh yes, you say tomato and l say tomato, fruit from one perspective still a vegetable fromanother, made for interesting conversation at the time.
That’s it entirely and applies to everything – if you don’t like what is in front of you, don’t read it – there is plenty of other opportunity abound in the galaxy 🙂
