The Q looked a bit off in the original post. Otherwise there are two ‘the’ in the question!
What old fashioned way of doing things is better than how they are currently done?
Making ice cream in that wooden tub with a crankshaft handle. We used to eat it once in a while and the fruit added to it gave an amazing flavor.
Are we consuming too much information and data and is the modern world bad for us?
Information is never bad, but the way it’s used cane bad.
If global warming continues, what will happen in the future?
We won’t survive a barren/ icy planet.

Hey Sadje, the Q is OK; l think it is because the comma is close to the q’s tail, well spotted on THE other mistake.
I know the wooden tub you mean, and yes, the taste was unique, although one of the main reasons they changed it was because many makers never cleaned their tubs properly. Sadly. The flavour was richer.
There is too much data in the world, and it is fast becoming our undoing. Only today, l was reading the latest post from Renard concerning AI-generated content. One of the reasons that has been created is because of the sheer volume of data we have on the net that is eating time, so now we have people making robots to make more data that we don’t always need or have the time to read. It’s a nasty catch-22.
You are right. The majority of the world’s people will not be able to survive. Life will go on, but not as you or l know it today.
