A Hankering for A Good sT over a St!

If you think this poem is about a Saint,
You’d be wrong, cos it ain’t!
I guess it comes down to how you
Pronounce and review,
 It!
I mean, is it St or sT?

See, there’s the difference; for starters,
Always worthy of the banter and barter,
 Conversation and chat,
People confused as to where it’s all at?
But today, mine isn’t about St,
 But the sT!

 Perhaps l could elaborate,
 Set the record straight,
For those reading and becoming confused,
… and wondering if the verses are bruised?

It all began from last night’s dream,
About millions of worms creeping in seams!
What on earth is the interpretation?
 Or the spiritual translation,
 Of that?

 Well dat ………….
It is all about renewal, apparently,
Which isn’t that strange, incidentally!
Not to me anyway, as l am in the process,
Of review and observation and address,
Life and all that maketh great,
Well, if not great, then at least au fait!

But in truth, my sT belongs to the promise of sTs!
Yes, plural sTs, not just singular sT, which is sweet!
So l figured upon waking that l had a need!
……… and after a quick read!
I decided to take action and compile me,
 An a, e, i, o and u of the highest degree!

 Why, l hear you ask?
Well, it’s how one completes a task!
 Obviously!
 Don’t you see?
 Are you reading me?
Or just the casual dilly-dally of the poetry?

It always comes down to,
 A, e, I, o and you!
 Simplistically,
 Creatively,
 imaginatively,
 Wonderfully,
 Colourfully,
 Vibrantly,
 Do you see?
 Are you now reading clearly?

So, the matter and manner of the St over the sT,
Utilising the formula aeiou means LisT!
Not last, lest, lost or oh la la lust,
But LisT – a LisT is now a MusT,
Before you ask, no, l am not PisT,
Just have a craving for a good LisT!

 A LisT, a checklist, a scribe’s assist!
I insist l need an excellent LisT!
Dreaming about worms wasn’t that unusual!
………… the mind’s way of encouraging removal!

 Throwing out the harmful trash!
 Emptying the bong’s hash ash!
Letting the newer juices of creativity back in,
Out with the old, in with the fresh begin!
