One Day Maybe


Why, when you think there are joys in the air,
Can the walls tumble down?
Freely, without care,
And turn the face downside to a frown,


Strangely emotions can scatter,
Throughout a hundred yesterdays,
Lost moonbeams on dark waters don’t matter,
When memories from the past arise today,


Tis true. For some reason, my stomach turned,
When you spoke so loosely,
And l felt forgotten turmoil’s burn,
Dark holes again within my soul, truly,


Love hurts, even though we each can be happy,
We test our love, our hearts, the very essence,
And look forwards to that ‘one day,
When we both look upon the moonbeam’s presence.

    I am not a poetry writer lol … I like to read it, but I’m not good at it myself

    I do little riddles for Easter every year. Those rhyme lol … well we see this year

    I wanna not lol … is a lot of work… but my daughter loves it so I keep doing it ❤️

    I have always done Easter like that

    They have egg hunt – eggs will have riddles – there are like 12 eggs … and each egg has riddle to where next egg is … and eventually find baskets … taught them how to read and resourcefully find shit lol 👏✌️ … plus I made it rhyme

    But it’s a big production to do and takes me awhile- can never reuse the old riddle so they always have to be new lol

    And the riddles are all designed on paper and printer so no one knew my handwriting because that was the Easter bunny lol 🐰 🥚 🧺 😉

    When is Easter? Is it almost Easter – omg holidays

    So yeah … we see

    She just loves it so much every year she looks forward to – how I not do that now? Lol
