Music Score – Moonlight |

White Paint Before dawn there was a wisp of a cloud sailing through the sky, Underscoring the half moon and waving to the stars. And the tiniest branches of the tallest trees reached out to touch it tenderly as it passed. Clouds are so nearly invisible in the dark, like white paint trying to make itself seen on the navy-est of blue. Mostly, it fades softly into its surroundings and you don’t notice it much. Raspberry dawn and tangerine dusk don’t last very long. There is a thread of finest silk that’s woven across the sky to catch the daring dreams and hold the moon silently suspended, And where is there, you may so rightly ask And there is where, resides hope unto the last And a flower flies and a feather blooms Within a heart that cares enough to make some quiet room… © Ellie894 February 13, 2023 |
