The Gardener’s Greeting

It takes some careful thought to trust in the timings of your life.
Music – Wait For Me
Just a quick note to those who responded to the Dawdler questions and l haven’t yet responded, l am currently behind but will get to them all today – the sun came out again and l started playing catch up to all my chores down on the allotment. I am currently shattered through the work however today l have a wood delivery so am home again.
Thanks for your patience.

Marine salvagers used metal detectors in 2007 to find an underwater treasure valued at nearly £500 million!

Some species of South African earthworms can grow to 6.7 metres, which is nearly two cars in length! The longest earthworm – Microchaetus rappi, can grow to almost 21 feet!

A pizza created by master pizza chef – Renato Viola is currently listed as the most expensive pizza in the world, with a value of $12,000! And why? Because he will come to your home to make it, with a chef and a sommelier in tow. The crust is produced using organic Arabian flour and is prepared three days before it is required. The topping on the 8″ diameter pizza usually consists of lobster, caviar and five plus types of cheese – if that’s not taking the pizza, l don’t know what is.

You probably don’t want to know this – BUT slugs and snails have up to 27,000 tiny teeth protrusions on a tongue-like mouth organ called the radula – called denticles. Strangely enough, that is more teeth than the great white shark, which has 30,000 teeth …………during its life time and typically only has 3,000.

Every 50 cigarettes smoked causes a mutation in the body that can cause cancer.

I know, right!
Who would have thunk it?

Wishing you a great day folks in all that you do!
