The fallen log used to captivate me all the time l lived in Kingsdown. I watched it over several years slowly decompose and break down into what is left today.
Fallen trees, becoming logs on the ground have far more life in them for far longer than most realize. I have some that I have been watching for years as well and I like them as well as the standing ones. Beautiful photos. Have a marvelous day. ☺️
