If only property owners could read your post, Rory. Our complex was recently purchased by new owners. They have made many improvements, and the work is ongoing. The issue is they go for the cheapest bidder, and the work is inferior.

Yes very much so Eugenia, greed rules for around 90% of landlords and l for one am looking forwards to the day when new ledislation gives renters more rights in the UK.

Well absolutely Sadje, as homeowners we must look after our own properties otherwise it would start to deteriorate, l just wish landlords looked at their additional properties with the same respect. The UK and l should imagine it will be a global issue is desperate for legislation to make landlords more accountable for their inactivity.

Very true. Here in the locality I live in, if a house is not constructed on an empty plot, the owner is charged to keep it tidy and free of debris
