Rather interestingly, whilst clearing out the Nissan Hut last year, l found a much older Gazen Salts Nature Reserve leaflet …

I introduced you to Gazen Salts Nature Reserve in the first couple of episodes, where l volunteer five times a month from 9 am to midday.

Gazen Salts owes its name to the leaseholder of the ‘Saltings’ John Gason who was once a 17th century resident of Sandwich, Kent.
