A Good Day’s Work!
Last week was wet. There is no nice way of saying it. It wasn’t just wet, but really wet. The ground was soaking, and the water table was also soaked through. Of course, it still needed more water to keep certain folks happy. Farmers, for instance, were complaining about the rain but still saying it wasn’t enough.
The Lil’ Rascals
Plot 17 has a total of 16 raised bed areas, although only 15 of them are functional as enclosed spaces. The 16th bed has no sides, but the soil is still in situ as if there were walls.
Recovering Plot 17
The first three ‘active’ episodes, 2, 3 and 4 of this season, showed you plot 17 as it was when Suze and l took it on board officially on the 9th of September. It wasn’t in terrible shape. It was neat and laid out okay and, thankfully, wasn’t overgrown.
